SIMONSEN er nominert av IFLR til prisen "Structured finance and securitisation deal of the year" for sin bistand knyttet til Bilkreditt 1-transaksjonen, hvor Santander Cosnumer Bank AS verdipapiriserte billån for ca. NOK 10,6 milliarder. SIMONSEN teamet ble leder av Morten W. Winther.
