The corporate attorneys’ expertise comprises M&A, corporate finance, tax and VAT, stock exchange and securities, finance and insurance. Competition law, labour law, general corporate law as well as all commercial law disciplines are handled by this section. The corporate section is divided into several working teams one of which also handles restructuring and insolvency.
The corporate section works partly as a separate market unit, but SIMONSEN’s strong focus on TMT, real estate, oil, gas, shipping and offshore implies that the corporate section is often involved in transactions and matters in those market segments. Some lawyers have broad experience in litigating issues in these segments.
