SIMONSEN in Tromsø was established in 2002 and endeavour to offer an entire and first class assistance within corporate law to the business life in Northern Norway, inter alia through a combination of top competence, trade experience and commercial understanding.
We mainly work towards the fishing industry, energy, transportation/shipping, property/contracting and the health sector.
Our office has 3 employees, of whom 2 lawyers with international experience and broad experience from trade law. In the short run the office aims at increasing the number of lawyers.
Beside the benefit of communication the presence in Tromsø entails the possibility to be continuously updated on local business activities and the external conditions influencing this. In combination with the national network of SIMONSEN, clients will be secured top competence, knowledge and capacity within the legal areas offshore/shipping, energy, property/contracting, corporate/tax, TMT and health.
We are a relevant partner for the regional, traditional trades, including the new challenges in consequence of the structuring process within fishery and aquaculture, future energy development both onshore and offshore, the restructuring of the health and transportation sector, and the increased activity within property and contracting.
